About Uttam Nagar

Uttam Nagar is on the Delhi Metro Blue Line between Janakpuri West and Dwarka Mor stations, in the 110059 pincode. Two Delhi Metro Blue Line stations, Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West, sit on this stretch. Janakpuri West, one stop east of Uttam Nagar East, is the interchange for the Magenta Line.

How is the metro connectivity?

  • Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West stations are on the Delhi Metro Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21 – Noida Electronic City).
  • Janakpuri West, the next station east of Uttam Nagar East, is an interchange with the Magenta Line.
  • Nawada and Dwarka Mor are the next Blue Line stations west of Uttam Nagar West.
  • The Blue Line runs elevated through this stretch; Uttam Nagar West station is on Najafgarh Road.

What to check before buying in Uttam Nagar

  • Registry or GPA: ask whether the seller has a registered sale deed. Before lending, banks ask for the title deed, the chain of earlier deeds and an encumbrance certificate. A flat held only on GPA usually can't provide these, so check with your bank before paying a token amount.
